Can't Connect Private Instagram

There is a known bug on Facebook where users get this error when trying to add Private Instagram or Facebook connection  {"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Your account is connected to Facebook account, and your Facebook account's future off-facebook activity is currently turned off."}

This is because Facebook checks for Off-Facebook Activity settings, and this is by Facebook's security design. It to resolve that, you or your team's Facebook Future Off-Facebook Activity settings must be turned on.

Here's a quick guide on how to turn it on:

1. Login to your FB account facebook.com (Login with the FB account associated with the Instagram you're trying to connect with Curator)

2. In the top right, click your profile icon to open the settings

3. Click "Settings & privacy"

4. Then click "Settings"

5. Scroll down and click Off-Facebook activity

6. Click "Continue" to proceed.

7. In Meta's popup, click "Manage future activity"

8. Select "Connect future activity" and click "Confirm" to save the configuration.

9. And that's it! Click "X" to close the configuration and head back to Curator.
