Creating Custom Posts

Custom posts let you add promotional content, announcements, or branded messages directly to your feed—without pulling from social media. This feature is available on Business plans and higher.

Before you begin: You'll need a Business plan or higher to create custom posts.

Creating a Custom Post

  1. Go to Custom posts or navigate to Curate > Custom posts in your dashboard

  2. Click New Post

  3. Fill in the post details:

    • Name — Internal label (not visible to viewers)

    • Feed — Choose which feed displays this post

    • Status — Toggle ON to publish, OFF to save as draft

    • Initial position — Set the post's placement (e.g., 1 for top position in your Feed)

    • Repeats — How often the post reappears in the feed

  4. Add content:

    • Image or video — Upload a single image or MP4 video (max 2MB each)

    • Heading — Bold title text

    • Content — Main body text

    • Network icon — Optional social media icon for branding

  5. Set interaction:

    • On post click — Choose "nothing" or enter a URL to link the post

  6. Click Save

Common Use Cases

Custom posts work well for:

  • Promoting products or services between user-generated content

  • Highlighting events or announcements

  • Adding calls-to-action at regular intervals

  • Creating "dark posts" that appear only in your feed, not on social media

Set custom posts to repeat every 5-10 posts to keep your feed balanced between user content and promotions.
