Adding TikTok Source

Curator pulls videos from TikTok through User Accounts and Hashtags. TikTok is a premium source available only on Business, Enterprise, and Event plans.

TikTok Source Types

User Videos — Pulls videos from the connected TikTok user account.

Hashtag — Pulls videos tagged with a specific hashtag across TikTok.

Connecting a TikTok Source

1. Upgrade to Business plan or higher (if needed) via Settings > Billing

2. On the Organize page, click Add Source

3. Select TikTok

4. Choose your source type (User Videos or Hashtag)

5. Click Connect TikTok and log in with your TikTok account

6. Grant Curator all access

7. Click Continue to return to the adding source page

8. Enter the required details:

   • User Videos — Select the account from the dropdown

   • Hashtag — Enter the hashtag (without #)

9. Click next to complete the adding source process

TikTok source pulls in approximately 20 posts when added and during each refresh every 6 hours.

Permissions

Curator requests read-only access to public TikTok videos and user data. Curator cannot post, edit, or delete content from your TikTok account.

You can revoke access anytime through your Curator dashboard under Connected Accounts or through your TikTok account settings.

Common Issues

"Premium source requires upgrade" — TikTok hashtag is only available on Business, Agency, and Enterprise plans. Upgrade your plan in Settings > Billing to connect TikTok sources.

Hashtag posts not showing — Verify the hashtag has recent public posts and is spelled correctly.

Connection expired — TikTok connections may expire over time. Go to your Social connections page and click Reconnect next to the TikTok account. Ensure you're logged into the same TikTok account when reconnecting.

Missing posts — Confirm you haven't hit your plan's post limit (Free: 1,000 posts).

Limitations

• TikTok Hashtag is available only on the Business, Agency, and Enterprise plans (not Free, Pro, or Event). Users on the Event plan can contact us to discuss access to this feature.

• Supported plan includes 1 TikTok hashtag source; each +15 source add-on purchase increases your TikTok limit by 1

• Only public videos are pulled

• TikTok Business or Creator account recommended for hashtag sources

• Each User Account or Hashtag source counts as 1 source toward your plan limit

• For Hashtag source — Your source may pull videos that don't appear directly related to your hashtag. This happens because TikTok's system determines content relevance, and that selection process is outside of Curator's control

• Auto-play is not supported for TikTok posts at this time
