Organizing Feeds & Sources

How Curator Updates Posts (Likes, Comments, and Caption Changes)

When you add a source, it automatically pulls new posts and attempts to keep existing posts up to date with the latest engagement and edits from the original platform.

How Updates/Refresh Work

Your sources update or refresh based on your plan’s refresh interval:

  • Free plan: Every 24 hours

  • Pro plan: Every 60 minutes

  • Business plan: Every 15 minutes

  • Event plan: Every 5 minutes

Each time your source refreshes, it adds any new posts that have appeared since the last check.

Full Post Updates (Once Daily)

Once per day, Curator performs a deeper update that refreshes all existing posts in your feed—not just new ones. This daily update pulls the latest data from the source platform, specifically:

  • Updated captions or edits

  • Current like counts

  • Current comment counts

The daily full update happens automatically. You don't need to do anything—your feed will reflect changes made on the original social platform within 24 hours.

Which Sources Get Engagement Updates

Curator pulls like and comment counts for these sources:

  • Facebook Page

  • Instagram Account

  • X (formerly Twitter) Account

  • LinkedIn

  • Reddit

  • Slack

  • TikTok

What This Means for Your Feed

Your embedded feed stays current without manual work. If someone edits a caption on Instagram or a post gets more likes on Facebook, those changes will appear in your Curator feed within 24 hours. New posts appear much faster, based on your plan's refresh interval.

If you need near real-time updates for a live event or display, the Event plan's 5-minute refresh interval combined with daily full updates ensures your feed stays as current as possible.
