Template Comparison Guide

Curator offers 20+ templates (also called layouts or styles) to display your social media feed. Each template has a unique look and works best for different use cases.

Waterfall / Grid Pinterest-style masonry layout with posts of varying heights arranged in columns. Great for image-heavy feeds like Instagram.

  • Best for: Visual content, photography, product showcases

  • Mobile: Automatically adjusts columns for smaller screens

Carousel Horizontal sliding feed with navigation arrows. Shows one or several posts at a time.

  • Best for: Featured content, testimonials, homepage highlights

  • Mobile: Swipeable on touch devices

List Simple vertical list showing posts one after another with full details.

  • Best for: Text-heavy content, news updates, blogs

  • Mobile: Very mobile-friendly, easy to scroll

Panel Large, prominent display focusing on one post at a time with minimal distractions.

Preview all templates in your Curator dashboard before choosing. You can switch templates anytime without losing your content.

Choosing the Right Template

Consider these factors:

  • Content type: Images work well in Grid/Mosaic; text suits List/Panel

  • Page placement: Hero sections use Panel; sidebars use List

  • Mobile usage: If most visitors are mobile, choose Grid or List

  • Performance: Simpler templates (Grid, List) load faster than animated ones (Cover Flow, Stack)

  • Brand style: Match your website's aesthetic (minimal vs dynamic)

Switching Templates

To change your feed's template:

  1. Go to your Publish section

  2. Select a template or layout under Feed styles tab

  3. Preview different options

  4. Click "Publish" to apply your choice
