Adding Tumblr Source

Curator pulls content from Tumblr through two source types: User/Blog posts and Tags/Hashtags. Only public content is supported.

Tumblr sources only pull public posts. Private blogs or restricted content won't appear in your feed.

Tumblr Source Types

User/Blog — Pulls posts from a specific Tumblr user or blog.

Tag/Hashtag — Pulls posts tagged with a specific hashtag across Tumblr.

Connecting a Tumblr Source

  1. On the Organize page, click Add Source

  2. Select Tumblr

  3. Choose your source type (User or Hashtag)

  4. Enter the required details:

    • User — Enter the Tumblr username without the @ symbol

    • Tag — Enter the tag without the # symbol

  5. Click next to complete the adding source process

Tumblr source pulls in approximately 20 posts when added and during each refresh, based on your plan’s update frequency (Free: 24 hours, Pro: 60 minutes, Business: 15 minutes).

Common Issues

No posts appearing — Verify the blog or tag has public posts published recently.

Invalid username or tag — Double-check the spelling and ensure you're entering the username or tag without @ or # symbols. Verify the blog is public and active on Tumblr.

Missing posts — Confirm you haven't hit your plan's post limit (Free: 1,000 posts).

Limitations

  • Only public Tumblr blogs and tags are supported (private blogs are excluded)

  • Enter usernames and tags without @ or # symbols

  • Available on all plans (each User or Tag source as 1 source toward your limit)
