Adding Reddit Source

Curator pulls content from Reddit through two source types: Subreddit Feeds and User Feeds. Both source types work with public content and don't require authentication.

Reddit sources only pull public posts. Private or restricted subreddits and user profiles won't appear in your feed.

Reddit Source Types

Subreddit Feed — Pulls posts from a specific subreddit.

User Feed — Pulls posts from a specific Reddit user's profile.

Connecting a Reddit Source

  1. On the Organize page, click Add Source

  2. Select Reddit

  3. Choose your source type (Subreddit Feed or User Feed)

  4. Click Connect Reddit and log in with your Reddit account

  5. Click Continue to return to the adding source page

  6. Enter the required details:

    • Subreddit Feed — Enter the subreddit name (e.g., "technology" with or without "r/")

    • User Feed — Enter the Reddit username (with or without "u/")

  7. Click next to complete the adding source process

Reddit source pulls posts when you add it, then refreshes based on your plan's update frequency (Free: 24 hours, Pro: 60 minutes, Business: 15 minutes).

Common Issues

No posts appearing — Verify the subreddit or user has public posts published.

Missing posts — Check that the subreddit or user profile is public. Private, restricted, or quarantined subreddits won't work. Also, confirm you haven't hit your plan's post limit (Free: 1,000 posts).

Incorrect subreddit or username — Double-check the spelling and ensure you're entering just the name without "r/" or "u/" prefixes.

Limitations

  • Only public subreddits and user profiles are supported

  • Private, restricted, or quarantined subreddits are excluded

  • No authentication required

  • Available on all plans (each Subreddit or User Feed source counts as 1 source toward your limit)
