Auto-refresh Settings
Curator automatically pulls new content from your connected social media sources based on your plan's refresh interval. This keeps your feed current without manual updates.
Refresh Intervals by Plan
Your plan determines how often Curator checks for new content:
Free: Every 24 hours
Pro: Every 60 minutes
Business: Every 15 minutes
Event: Every 5 minutes
The refresh interval countdown begins when you add a source or reactivate a paused source.
Higher-tier plans offer faster refresh rates, making them ideal for live events or rapidly updating content like breaking news or event hashtags.
How Auto-refresh Works
Curator's servers check your connected sources at the scheduled interval and pull in new posts automatically. Once pulled, new content appears in your public feed after passing your moderation settings.
The refresh happens server-side, so your website visitors don't experience any delays or loading disruptions.
Manual Refresh
At the moment, there isnβt an option to manually trigger a refresh for your sources.
For Event plan users, the 5-minute refresh is designed for digital signage and TV displays where content must stay current.
Moderation and Refresh
New posts pulled during auto-refresh respect your moderation settings:
Auto-approve: New posts appear immediately in your public feed
Manual approval: New posts wait in your moderation queue until you approve them
Filters active: Posts matching filter rules are hidden or flagged
Troubleshooting Refresh Issues
If your feed isn't updating:
Double-check that your source status is active and not currently paused
Check that the refresh interval has passed since the last update
Verify the connected account has posted new content
Ensure the source connection is still active (reconnect if needed)
