Installing the Chrome Extension
The Curator Chrome Browser Extension is required to send rights requests on Instagram. It lets you request permissions directly from Instagram posts and connects those requests to your Curator feeds.
Before you begin: You'll need the Rights Management add-on enabled on your Curator account and Google Chrome installed.
Install the extension
Open Google Chrome
Visit the Chrome Web Store
Search for "Curator.io" or go directly to the Curator extension page
Click "Add to Chrome"
Confirm by clicking "Add extension" in the popup
The Curator icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar once installed.
Log into the extension
Before you can send requests, you need to authenticate:
Click the Curator icon in your Chrome toolbar
Enter your Curator account credentials
Log in
You only need to log in once. The extension will remember your session.
Pin the Curator extension to your toolbar for quick access. Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome, then click the pin next to Curator.
Using the extension
Once installed and logged in, navigate to any Instagram post while logged into your Instagram Business account. The extension will be available when you're viewing image posts.
Click the Curator icon to open the extension interface and start sending rights requests.
