Curating Content

Understanding Embed Posts

Embed Posts let you manually add public posts from Instagram, Facebook Pages, and TikTok directly to your feed using the post URL. This is an alternative to automatic source pulling when you need to add specific posts that may not appear through your connected sources.

Embed Posts are different from Custom Posts, which let you upload your own promotional content.

How to add an Embed Post

  1. Go to the Curate section in your dashboard

  2. Click Add post

  3. Select the platform option (e.g., "Embed Instagram post")

  4. Paste the public post URL

  5. Click Embed post

The post will appear in your feed alongside content from your connected sources.

Supported posts

  • Instagram – The post owner must have website embeds permission enabled

  • Facebook Pages – Public page posts only

  • TikTok – Public posts only

Only public posts can be embedded. Private or restricted posts will not work.

Limitations

Embed Posts have some display and styling restrictions:

  • Post modal (post lightbox) support – The post detail modal may appear differently compared to posts pulled from sources

  • Style compatibility – Only available on the Website > Waterfall - Sydney style. Other website or event styles do not support Embed Posts

  • Custom styling – CSS and feed settings (Posts, Filters, Color/Appearance) may not apply to embedded posts

  • Unable to Embed Facebook Paid Partnership Post — This is a limitation or an issue on Facebook’s end and is unfortunately beyond Curator’s control

For more control over display and styling, consider using Custom Posts instead if you're on a Business+ plan.
