Adding Google Reviews Source

Curator pulls customer reviews from Google Business Profile (Google Maps). There are two versions: Google Reviews Lite (available on all plans) and Google Reviews (Business+ only).

Google Reviews Lite is available on all plans but limited to 5 reviews without images. Google Reviews Premium requires the Business or higher plan and pulls up to 20 reviews with images. Supported plans include 1 Google Reviews Premium source, and each +15 source add-on purchase increases the limit by 1 source.

Google Reviews Source Types

Google Reviews (Lite) — Available on all plans. Pulls up to 5 reviews selected by Google, refreshed periodically. No review images.

Google Reviews — Available on Business+ plans. Pulls up to 20 reviews with images per refresh.

Connecting Google Reviews

  1. Upgrade to Business plan or higher (if you want the Premium version with images and 20 reviews)

  2. On the Organize page, click Add Source

  3. Select Google Reviews

  4. Choose your source type (Lite or Premium)

  5. Find your business by searching the name or address, or by entering the Place ID.

  6. Click next to complete the adding source process

Google Reviews source pulls in 5–20 posts (depending on whether you chose Lite or Premium) when added and on each refresh based on your plan’s update frequency (Free: 24 hours, Pro: 60 minutes, Business: 15 minutes).

Seeing translated reviews instead of the original language?

If you're adding a Google Reviews source for a business based on different country or using a different language (for example, Japanese or Korean), you might notice that some reviews appear automatically translated into English.

This can happen because reviews may be returned in a translated format (English), sometimes influenced by factors like your current region.

Optional workaround

You can try adding the Google Reviews source while connected to a VPN set to the desired region (e.g., Japan). This may influence the locale of the data returned and help display the original language.

Please note that this is an optional workaround and not something we officially support, so results may vary.

Common Issues

"Premium source requires upgrade" — The Premium version of Google Reviews is available on the Business, Agency, Enterprise, and Event plans. Upgrade your plan in Settings > Billing to access the full version with up to 20 reviews and images.

No reviews appearing — Verify your Google Business Profile has public reviews published.

Only 5 reviews showing — If you're adding the Lite version, you're limited to 5 reviews. Upgrade to Business or higher to access the Premium version with up to 20 reviews per refresh.

Missing posts — Confirm you haven't hit your plan's post limit (Free: 1,000 posts).

Limitations
