What Happens When You Exceed Limits
Curator uses soft limits—you won't be charged extra or locked out if you exceed your plan's limits.
Your account will be paused, which means your sources will also be paused and won't pull any new posts.
Nothing will break publicly — your feed will continue to display as usual without showing any errors. If you need your sources to stay active, you can upgrade your account
No overage charges
If you exceed your source, view, or post limits, Curator won't charge you additional fees. Instead, you'll see prompts in your dashboard encouraging you to upgrade.
You won't lose access to your feeds or data if you go over your limits.
What gets limited
Sources — Can't add new sources beyond your limit (3 on Free, 5 on Pro, 15 on Business). Premium sources like X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Reviews require a Business plan; the Business plan includes X source, 1 TikTok hashtag source, 1 LinkedIn source, and 1 Google Reviews Premium source.
Views — Once you hit your monthly view limit (2k on Free, 15k on Pro), you'll see upgrade prompts. Feeds continue working.
Posts — Older posts may be archived if you exceed storage limits (1k on Free, 10k on Pro, 30k on Business).
Update frequency — Free plans update every 24 hours; paid plans update more frequently (60 min on Pro, 15 min on Business).
How to resolve limits
Navigate to Settings > Billing
Click Upgrade to unlock higher limits
If you only occasionally hit limits, you might not need to upgrade. Curator's soft limits let you keep using the platform without penalties.
Check your usage
To monitor how close you are to your limits, go to Reports. You'll see current view, and posts counts to compare to your plan's caps.
