Adding X/Twitter Source

Curator pulls posts from X (formerly Twitter) through User Accounts and Hashtags. X/Twitter is a premium source available only on Business, Enterprise, and Event plans.

X/Twitter sources require a Business plan or higher. Free and Pro plans cannot connect X/Twitter sources.

X/Twitter Source Types

User Account — Pulls posts from a specific X/Twitter account (your own or any public account) with the option to include replies and retweets.

Hashtag — Pulls posts tagged with a specific hashtag across X/Twitter.

Connecting an X/Twitter Source

  1. Upgrade to Business plan or higher (if needed) via Settings > Billing

  2. On the Organize page, click Add Source

  3. Click Add Source or go to Social Connections

  4. Select X / Twitter

  5. Click Connect X/Twitter on the X authorization screen

  6. Ensure you're logged into the correct X account

  7. Grant Curator authorization

  8. Click Continue to return to the adding source page

  9. Enter the required details:

    • User Account — Enter the X username (without @)

    • Hashtag — Enter the hashtag (without #)

  10. Click next to complete the adding source process

Twitter source pulls in approximately 20 posts when added and during each refresh every 12 hours.

Permissions

Curator requests read-only access to public posts, profiles, and media from X/Twitter. Curator cannot post, edit, or delete content from your X account.

You can revoke access anytime through your Curator dashboard under Connected Accounts or through your X account settings.

Common Issues

"Premium source requires upgrade" — X/Twitter is only available on Business, Enterprise, and Event plans. Upgrade your plan in Settings > Billing to connect X/Twitter sources.

Connection expired — X/Twitter connections may expire periodically. Go to your Social connections page and click Reconnect next to the X/Twitter account. Ensure you're logged into the same X account when reconnecting.

No posts appearing — Verify the account, or hashtag has public and recent posts.

Missing posts — Confirm you haven't hit your plan's post limit (Free: 1,000 posts).

Limitations

  • Available only on Business, Enterprise, and Event plans (not Free or Pro)

  • Only public posts are pulled

  • Hashtag source — Initial pull limited to approximately 25 recent posts from the last 24 hours

  • Each User Account or Hashtag source counts as 1 source toward your plan limit
