Future Activity Error When Connecting Instagram
There is a known bug on Instagram where users get this error when trying to add or reconnect an Instagram connection:
OAuthException: Your account's future activity history off Meta technologies is currently turned off. Please visit account center to change it.
This is because Instagram checks for Off-Facebook Activity settings, and this is by Meta's security design. To resolve that setting must be turned on.
Here's a quick guide on how to turn it on:
1. Login to your Instagram account Instagram.com
2. In the left corner, click " More" to open up the options
3. Click " Settings"
4. Then click on " See more in Accounts Center"
5. In the Accounts Center, click " Your information and permissions" then "Your activity off Meta technologies"
6. It'll open up a modal. In the modal, click " Manage future activity"
7. Select " Connect future activity" and click "Confirm" to save the configuration.
8. And that's it! You may head back to Curator and try adding or reconnecting again.
